Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors
Spectrum Scientific’s off-axis parabolic mirrors are designed to eliminate spherical aberrations in off-axis applications, delivering achromatic focusing, high-resolution performance, and exceptionally low scatter—making them ideal for UV and precision analytical systems.
Manufactured using our optical replication process, these mirrors offer the performance of traditionally polished optics with the added benefit of cost-effective, high-volume production. Replicated mirrors can also integrate mounting or alignment features directly into the optical substrate, reducing assembly complexity and improving mechanical stability.
Key Benefits:
- Low scatter and high fidelity, ideal for UV to IR applications
- Lightweight, monolithic construction
- Surface figures down to λ/10 peak-to-valley
- Coating options for DUV (120 nm), VIS, NIR, and IR ranges
Our off-axis parabolas are a critical component in spectrometers, beam collimators, and astronomical instruments, supporting compact optical designs without compromising resolution or throughput.
